There is a growing community of cancer patients, often with the help of their friends and families, who are starting to take their health into their own hands and are starting to research evidence based treatments in hope of finding a cure or extending their lives.

The aim of this initiative is to start capturing the data from this community to help provide data back into the community about what is working and what is not working. The initiative will be heavily data driven, while not looking to replace the current clinical trail process, the outcomes from the project could feed into formal more structured clinical trails.

Healing Cancer Study Support Group

The aim of this group is to make the task of researching the many topics pertaining to healing cancer easier, faster and friendlier.This group takes a different approach in that they do not focus so much on personal thread posts, rather, the focus is on 'on topic' comments inside dedicated research topic threads. They are a 'study' support group.

Linda's group provides a safe space to discuss all matters related to patient experiences with cancer and therapy. She offers a plethora of information and facilitates dialogue between patients seeking support.

Jane McLelland off-label drugs for cancer
Jane McLelland

Author of the book 'How to Starve Cancer', Jane's group discusses all manner of therapeutic options, particularly the use of off-label drug combinations that can aid in blocking metabolic pathways that are essential for cancer survival. By studying her metro map, patients are able to target mutations and pathways relevent to their particular cancer.
